‘Westworld’ creators confirm robots poop, and other Season 2 info I guess

The return of HBO’s Westworld has been highly anticipated after the show’s 2017 hiatus, but it seems as though its absence a year ago might not be unique and fans may have to wait for season 3’s debut until at least 2020.

There are plenty of Easter eggs you may want to remind yourself of before beginning Season 2, but mostly it’s important to recall where the main characters ended up, and what they do or do not understand about themselves as humans or hosts (that is, androids).

Yes, Westworld Season 2 will bring something new and terrible to the table, because all that impending doom was apparently insufficient.

The puppet show is over, and we are coming for you and the rest of your kind.

It’s been more than a hot minute since we last visited the debauched guests and android hosts of Westworld, but with the HBO drama returning on Sunday, we’re brushing up on everything that went down before Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) offed Ford (Anthony Hopkins) in front of a bunch of terrified humans in the Season 1 finale.

The episode itself had moments of confusion, as all Westworld episodes tend to, and it was somewhat slow in comparison to previous episodes, but it was a very solid setup for what’s to come. He will appear on the season’s second episode, though.
