WrestleMania 34 Recap: Daniel Bryan’s Return

Rousey starred at WrestleMania 34 as she beat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match with Kurt Angle. Any expectations for what Rousey would look like for her first match in a WWE ring were exceeded.

The sight of her holding up all 256 pounds of Triple H drew a huge reaction from the announced crowd of 78,133. Worth mentioning is that this WWE Universal Championship match is still favored by -2000 to go on last as the main event. Roman Reigns, and AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. What a match. Seth Rollins won after one stomp laid out Balor, then a second one laid out Miz for the clean pinfall.

In incredibly quick fashion, Harper and Rowan dominate both other teams to secure their first titles together since NXT.

Ronda Rousey is legitimately nails, but, as the enduring fighting career of Shane McMahon proves, that means nothing in WWE. This win reminds the WWE Universe that the “Woken Era” has only just begun!

Perhaps the funniest meme came from John Cena. And in just a few minutes, the Undertaker undertook to take him under. CBS Sports dubbed Rousey “WWE’s newest full-time superstar“, and fans had plenty to say, too.

“Yeah, Brock Lesnar’s coming back”, White responded after laughing on UFC Tonight on Wednesday last week.
