Richard Shotwell/Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP Jenner was driving a Cadillac Escalade on the Pacific Coast Highway when she rear-ended Kim Howe and pushed her into the path of an oncoming Hummer. The money came from an insurance company, so nothing came directly from Jenner.

Howe’s stepchildren, Dana Redmond and William Howe, sued Jenner in May. The Lexus driver, Kim Howe, was killed when her vehicle hit a Hummer head-on.

However, as reported by ET Online, no charges were filed against Jenner as Los Angeles County District Attorney claimed that Jenner was travelling at a slightly slower than speed than the speed limit in the area at the time.

A second civil suit filed against Jenner by one of those injured in the crash was dismissed in late 2015 following a settlement.

Jenner’s attorney said the wrongful death suit filed by William Howard and Dana Redmond has been dismissed.
