This new Xolo model sports 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and 5 megapixel front camera for selfies that too with LED flash along with an OmniVision BSI-2 sensor inside the camera.
Home grown company Xolo has launched a new camera-centric budget phone in the Indian market it calls the One HD at a price of Rs 4,777. It has been confirmed by Xolo through a Facebook post that the registrations for the device will start in three days. The device is now available for purchase exclusively via the giant E-commerce portal, Amazon India.
Powering all of the above is a 2300mAh battery and the Xolo One HD boots to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. Further, there is 8GB internal storage along with MicroSD card support for expansion up to 32GB. The XOLO 8X-1000i comes with dual SIM dual standby, but lacks the 4G LTE option. Still, users will be able to take advantage of 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0 and Global Positioning System with AGPS support. The Hive UI for Android was introduced in India back in August had touted that the company’s custom ROM was “Made in India, Made for India” platform. The handset measures 143×72.6×9.5mm. The 5MP front camera with front flash also comes with a bigger pixel size of 1.4 µm. It now comes with 3GB RAM while the original Xolo Black which was launched in July this year features only 2GB RAM.
The latest addition to XOLO’s “One” family of smartphones offers modest specs, which is why it’s been priced so low.
